Directions for Head of the Lake - Seattle, WA
- Directions to Lake Washington Rowing Club's Fremont Boathouse
- -From I-5 take exit 167 (Mercer St., Seattle Center, Fairview exit).
- -At the end of the exit get in far right lane, turn right onto Fairview.
- -Fairview immediately ends and you’ll see the south end of Lake Union right in front of you, you must turn right or left.
- -There are 3 left turn lanes, get in the right-most of those and turn left onto Valley St. from here you will keep the water always on your right.
- -On Valley stay in far right lane and take first right onto Westlake Ave. N.
- -Turn right on to 4th Ave. N just after going underneath the Aurora Bridge.
- -Cross over the Fremont Bridge and take the first right on to N 34th St.
- -Continue underneath the Aurora Bridge again and take the first right on to Stone Way N.
- -At the intersection of Stone Way N and N Northlake Way take a left (on to N Northlake Way) and continue on to Gas Works Park to park your vehicle for free. (A right on to N Northlake Way would take you to the LWRC boathouse, but no parking is provided.) Walk back along N Northlake Way (past Stone Way N) all the way to the boathouse on your right.
